Three Years Old

Congratulations -- your child is officially a 'preschooler.' Welcome to the days of seemingly unlimited questions and unquenchable curiosity. What great learning opportunities will take place during this important developmental period. It is during this stage that many children take a natural, early interest in letters and numbers. Because of this, we have selected Building Language for Literacy, created by experts in child education, as our curriculum in our three year old class.

Building Language for Literacy was developed to expose children to the building blocks of letter recognition, vocabulary development and early reading skills in a fun, exciting and stress-free environment, making the learning experience enjoyable and rewarding. Our math program, Meaningful Math, creates an environment with stimulating math-rich experiences in order to truly expose your child to real world, hands-on math opportunities. And because we believe in meeting the needs of the whole child, our curriculum also focuses on the importance of promoting self-esteem, providing feelings of self worth, and developing social skills in this very wonderful, curious time in your child's life.

Your child will also have plenty of free exploration time, rotating through any and all of their classroom learning centers each day, learning through play, and making exciting discoveries. Lots of physical activity is implemented at various times throughout the day, whether it be on the children's outdoor or indoor playground, or in the classroom.

Our teachers will provide your three year old with both fun and challenging activities which will stimulate mind development, creativity and physical fitness - all the while ensuring warm, responsive and responsible care.
