24 months to 36 months

This is quite a time in your child's life -- your adorable little one is becoming his own person. Two year olds are talking, playing and interacting with parents and others. They can explore new activities and want to do things for themselves. We at Primary Prep Academy take these wonderful developmental milestones and run with them! We have chosen HighReach Curriculum for our two-year-old program because of its emphasis on continued verbal development and early math concepts. The curriculum also focuses on socialization skills, small/large muscle control, music, art and dramatic play, among other fun and challenging activities, all in a supportive, loving environment.

Older toddlers will begin to determine what it is they really enjoy through the exploration of their classroom learning centers. On any given day, children will rotate among art, reading, building, discovery science, dramatic play, math and manipulative centers. They will also get plenty of physical activity participating in our music and movement program and having lots of fun with friends on both their outdoor and indoor playground.

The second year is truly a time of exploration, discovery and creative play in a child's life. We are so happy to share in such an awesome adventure!

He finds the pencil and marks on the wall.
He climbs on the piano and then he falls.
He upsets the garbage and plays in the ink.
He spills the milk he refuses to drink.
He crawls in the sandbox and plays in its bed.
He refuses to bathe and crys instead.
In short, he wishes to do what he wishes.
He breaks your heart as well as your dishes.
But all is forgiven, All is bliss.
When he comes and gives you a big wet kiss.
