Dear
Primary Prep Parents:
The preschool years of development can be some of the most
challenging yet rewarding times in any parents’ lives. I am here to
encourage you to enjoy each moment because they pass all too quickly. As
the parent of a now twenty-two year old young man, those young years were
some of the best “educational” experiences of my life.
I am excited to join the team and begin to become part of the
Primary Prep family. I have a wealth of experience in a preschool
environment, as I have been a previous owner of two childcare centers.
While I have been immersed in working with younger children for the greater
part of my life, I have formerly taught both public and private school. I
am a graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Education. I was recognized in Who’s Who Among Students in American
Universities and Colleges and have been fortunate to continue that
recognition in Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women.
This program already has a very well-trained staff in place
and I plan on continuing the goals of acquiring accreditation by the
National Association for the Education of Young Children. As a parent, this
means that you will see a higher quality of childcare offered to your
children. You will also begin receiving a calendar on the first day of each
month highlighting various activities available for your child and
you. I hope you’ll take the opportunity to participate as
often as your calendar permits.
My
family is my first priority as it is with you. I understand the stresses of
job commitments and outside activities and this program is here to offer you
a concise
developmentally appropriate environment
with a nurturing staff. I look forward to the days ahead of quickly
settling in and getting to know each of you. I hope you’ll contact me
directly with any questions or concerns, as I’m always willing to listen.
